Some thoughts and rants
Men have stepped foot on the moon, sent machinery as far as Mars and further, and discovered other galaxies, but here on Earth there are still some men that are still climbing some of the tallest mountains, physically traveling outrageous distances, or free diving the depths of the ocean. 1953: First recorded summit of Everest. Tenzing Norgay and Sir Edmund Hillary summit Everest. 1969: Neil Armstrong is the first man to step on the moon. The time frame in which these two events occur are amazing. They are sixteen years apart from each other, which is a very short time. From climbing the tallest mountains to landing on the moon in a short sixteen years is an achievement in itself. Although men may be breaking through to find methods to find out more about the galaxy and the universe, there are still some men on our Earth who are still provoking and testing the human limits.
